Thanksgiving

Stanislaus County Libraries will be closed Thursday, November 26 and Friday, November 27 in observance of Thanksgiving.

Are you a Twilight fan?

Whether you like or love the Twilight series you should come to Modesto Library's Teen Twilight Extravaganza. The event will be on Monday, November 16 at 4 p.m. in the downstairs auditorium. There will be trivia, discussion of all things Twilight, and a chance to win tickets to see the new movie, "New Moon."  And of course, food and drink will be provided.

Naming Contests

 Names are an important part of a person's identity and animals need names too!
Children ages 3-14 are eligible to participate in November's naming contests. One entry per person.

The squirrel has been living in Ryan's Reading Tree in the Modesto Library and now wants a name!
Pick the winning name and you could win a book.

Turlock Library Children's Department

A squirrel and 2 bears are hunting for names in the Turlock Library and you can help!
